We would like to invite Girl Scouts at all levels to join us for a special presentation by the Morristown Seeing Eye — Warren County Puppy Power Club. The fun will take place Monday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church (location changed due to weather). All Girl Scouts are welcome at this free event!
In this presentation, girls will get to learn about the challenges that face the visually impaired in our area, and how service animals help overcome those challenges. They will get to meet the puppies, and learn about what goes into raising them. Girl Scouts will also get to learn valuable skills in empathy and innovation as we address how dogs help individuals increase their social skills and gain autonomy. It should be a really fun and cuddly event.
